Hellooo Everybody!
(If you are interested, or you are not interested and you are on this list, I need to know by Weds. to start planning!)
I'm excited to ride bicycles with
all of you wonderful people - this instance happens to be LOTS of fun!
The Wheelmen will be returning to dominate the
WCCC 24 hr Championships.
Last year we had 2 teams, 10 people,
10 hot dogs in one minute*, and so much fun that I can't wait for this
year. Here's to no concussions in '07!
We are forming teams and taking
interest now, and WE NEED WOMEN! Please confirm the rider list below if
you are on it, and send me an email to add you if you are not. We will be answering more questions later.
The COSTS: 375 per team - which can
be raised (we got $500 last year from one person fundraising) because
all of the race fees go entirely to support cancer research. This is in
addition to gas, food, bike parts, milk and cookies, naked dancers,
etc. We ended up having extra lights last year, so you are not required
to buy a $600 light! If you do, it helps tho... Registration starts
hiking up in price after late March, so we need to know now who wants
in!
The DATE: The ENTIRE weekend of May 5-6, 2007.
The WEBSITE: www.thecoolestmtb.com

We need one more woman and we can begin to form a 4th team! There is
time to learn lots about mountain biking and the race is more about
consistency than speed, so don't be shy!
For all VETERANS - We should begin a list of things we wish we had last year. Please send them to me in an email.
Happy Trails,
Kevin Moynihan
