If we can out-play hot title favourites Birmingham, as we did on
Saturday, and start scoring a few more goals and winning games that we
dominate, then why shouldn't the play-offs be within reach?
And if Sibierski can do that job for us until a permanent signing
(like Iverssen) arrives, then it won't be wasted at all.
Kennedy has already talked about moving down permanently and who knows
what might happen with Lupoli?
Even 'permanent' signings often only stay for a couple of seasons, so
that's no guarantee of stability, and look how many 'permanent'
signings we've had to release. Clubs on tight budgets can't afford to
commit to paying wages to lots of out of favour players, so loans are
a sensible option in many cases.
More than that, Roeder seems quite good at getting them all settled in
and playing as if they were contracted to the Club properly - so I'm
not so concerned as I might otherwise be. MLS
