games, and then subsequently dropped. Strihavka, Brellier, Murray, Lappin?

Whatever, we do badly need someone comfortable at right-back to cover
and provide competition for Otsemobor (Doherty is a commited player,
sure, but as evidenced by Saturday's game, he is no right-back), and if
that player can also play centre-half so much the better.

Especially if we can't get Taylor - and there's probably too many
variables to confidently guess at that - transfer price wouldn't be too
low, I'd've thought, and you can't tell what the new manager will want
to do with players his predecessor loaned out - he might want to make a
judgement for himself.
