Walsall all but ended our play-off hopes with this clean sheet, but
City only had themselves to blame. They were slow out of the blocks,
and never really looked very interested in pushing hard for the
victory. Against a top side with an impressive home record one might
excuse this lack of ambition, but against a side struggling at the
bottom, knowing you need a win, leaves no excuses. Symptomatic of
City's away day failings all season I'm afraid!

The one plus was the introduction of Ryan Jarvis, who became the
youngest City player ever. At only 16 years and 282 days, he beat the
previous record by almost four months! And he did a good job too. MLS
