Got into the walk-up line for tickets at roughly 6:50pm.  However I get into the building before it starts and get to my seat before the national anthem is sung.

The grounds crew forgets to close the door after letting the Boy Scout troop out after the anthem. 

1^st

Brian Bridges is rewarded with the start.

Josh Lepp is the backup.

2:10 Jason Lynch gets 2 minutes for hooking. 

5:03 Gustav Engman gets 2 minutes for crosschecking. 

Aaron Gagnon checked a Spokane player (I’m thinking Gillen but I wrote down Gorman quite clearly) into the boards almost knocking over the beer of the person sitting next to me. 

6:49 Ryan gibbons gets 2 minutes for slashing. 

Bridges got lucky and saved the puck just as Engman got out of the box. 

7:20 Spokane scores.  Joe Logan assisted by Ned Lukasevic

Gladue was holding a t-bird, but the ref decided not to call it. 

10:53 Nate Thompson and Jeff Lynch get 2 minutes each for roughing.  This could have been called a fight as well. 

Derek Couture interferes with the goalie at 9:13 and has to cool his jets for 2 minutes.

Bud Holloway might have a career as a Baseball outfielder if hockey doesn’t work out.  Jeff Lynch tripped up Yashar Farmanara

Jevon Desautels left his glove in the net. 

Chris Bruton and Clayton Barthel gets 5 minutes each for fighting.  Meanwhile, Ryan Gibbons wrestled (WWE style) Steven Gillen while he was fighting another t-bird. 

Sean Zimmermann had David Lindsley by the shirt yet the ref decided it wasn’t worth a penalty.

Seattle is ranked #6 in the CHL, however Seattle isn’t re-bounding like other teams I’ve seen ranked in the top ten.  

17:19 Clayton Barthel gets 2 minutes for boarding. 

18:05 Zack Fitzgerald gets 2 minutes for crosschecking.

Tyler Metcalfe, Kyle Fecho, and Scott Jackson are playing 2 man short handed line. 

19:51 Spokane scores again.  Ned Lukasevic was assisted by Jeff lynch.

2^nd

1:41 delayed penalty.  Derek Ryan gets 2 minutes for tripping. This wasn’t a good call at all.  Derek Couture fell on his own.  If anything he dove. 

Scott Jackson pushed Lynch (no notation of which one L) into Mitch Fadden.

5:56 the puck went in behind Brian Bridges.  I wasn’t able to catch who was credited with it though.  I tried to hear, but the crowd was quite noisy J and I tried to look on the screen but too many people were standing blocking my view J now, I was a little annoyed that I couldn’t get the information, but it beats being at a game where the crowd is silent and without emotion. 

Somebody tell me how the (insert word(s) of choice here) did Brian Bridges get 9 career shutouts as a t-bird?!!?  Oh well, I must not have been there those nights lol. 

6:26 Scott Lynch gets 2 minutes for roughing. 

The PA announcer is more understandable tonight.

Is there a rhyme or reason the “Woo Hoo” sound put over the PA system?

Ladislav Scurko gets 2 minutes for tripping at 6:41.

The PA announcer is still a little unclear, but at least I can hear it. 

J.P. Szaszkiewicz needs to buy a vowel and is most likely in violation of the “alphabet cap rule”

The T-birds need to learn that passing to a Seattle player rather than Spokane or imaginary ones does help. 

Bridges saw the puck coming and it STILL went in!  It went in right between his legs.

Chad Klassen scored a goal, but I didn’t catch the time or who assisted on it.

14:35 Gustav Engman gets 2 minutes for high sticking. 

Seattle needs to learn the value of getting rebounds.

15:08 Derek Couture gets 2 minutes for obstruction tripping.

Kyle Fecho and Chris Bruton tussle, but nothing was called.  

3^rd

Gary Gladue intercepted a pass intended for Aaron Gagnon. 

Gustav Engman left his helmet on the ice in front of me. 

I noticed only 6 Seattle fans.  L 

Watt a nice catch!  (Pun intended :P but it was a nice catch)

Ladislav Scurko had a nice rebound shot, but it hit the post.  L

6:36 Spokane called a time out.  Why? They are up by 3. 

Yashar Farmanara and Mike Reich tussle.  Also the net is off and a linesman is fixing what is most likely a hole in the net. 

I say net (as in get the puck in the net now!) and the puck goes right in between my feet.  I didn’t know I looked like the net.  (I think I’d rather be a target lol)

Ryan Gibbons gave Sean Zimmermann a nice hit.

11:51 Mike Reich gets 4 minutes for high sticking.  His stick found Zack Fitzgerald and hit him pretty good. 

The t-birds desperately need help on the power play. 

18:35 Derek Couture gets 2 minutes for checking from behind. 

T-birds had a minute or two of short handed play that needs to be done all the time.  Too bad no goals came out of it though. 

19:04.8 Jevon Desautels and Ryan Gibbons had words.  Also Mike Reich had Yashar Farmanara by the neck (like a head lock) and Farmanara gets put in the box!  What the (insert word(s) of choice here) did he do?  The game gets over and the PA announcer has yet to say what the penalty was for.  I know it wasn’t for being the victim of a headlock but that’s all I saw that happened to him at that time.
