Like Alan said - it is really the true payoff of being a WHL fan when you
turn on an NHL game and see all the familiar names. Even when your team is
not doing well, and Alan could be in a "rebuilding" mode with his Hitmen this
year, he understands that watching the other teams can be just as much
fun...(and, of course, watching the moves and development of your team in
improving itself is fun too).
Just wish all the league and all teams could find better ways to communicate
this to their fans...and more importantly to potential fans...to continue the
growth of fan bases everywhere in junior hockey....
