Well as a fan of the 1999 Memorial Cup Champions Ottawa 67s, for over 10
years,i must say I am a little worried...

We are waiting for word on Dan Tessier (Montreal Canadaians) and Mark Bell
(Chicago) if Tessier does not return we will be starting the season with no
overagers.

We have our 2 goalies back, Szuper and Kotyk, Kotyk has been weak since
returing from an excellent training camp in Boston Szuper has been solid and
I belive he will be the starting goalie..

Our defence is solid with returnees Van Hoof, Zion, and Sellars on the blue
line..Josh Tataryn and Brendan Bell are our #1 and 2 draft picks and have
been steady in the pre season, with Bell reminding us of standout Brian
Campbell, with his skating skills and puck movement.

European import Franz Fritzheimer opened the preseason with a hat trick and
has impressed everyone with his hands and movement around the net, despite
his size he is one to watch.

The Galbraith, Talbot and Jacob line continued where they left last year,
they are the steadiest line and look for Talbot to score 30 plus goals...

Our weaknesses are we have no overagers and even with Dan Tesier back it
leaves with lack of leadership and experience, though Galbraith is a 4 year
player.

Mark Bell is struggling at Chicago and he will be expected to take
leadership and improve on last year's season...

If Kilrea can pull out a magical trade (like he usually does) for some
strong forwards Ottawa could challenge, otherwise they will probably be a
middle of the pack team...
