Doesn't make much sense to keep Szuper as an overage if you have
another goaltender like Kotyk. Szuper would count as both an overage
and an import so it's better for clubs to not keep import overagers
and split those two very valuable spots - have three North American
overagers and use the two import spots on two other players.
Of course an exception would be if you simply can't afford to let
one particular import go, but the 67's would appear to have a very
good goaltender in Kotyk as well so as good as Szuper is, they are
better off using his import and overage spots on two other players.
Provided Szuper can agree to a contract with the Flames, he should
be in the ECHL or possibly the AHL next year. More likely the ECHL
to start his pro career.

well this is true does anyone know what the 67's did in the import draft
that will go a long way in telling you which way there going to go
