A former wheat king just got aquiredt to the Minnestoa Wild. he will
probably just end up playing in the IHL still but He has a shot. Not many
Wheats that get drafted end up playing in the NHL they all end up in the
Affiliate teams. Some of them end up in Europe playing. Our training camp
will be starting up soon and he had one of our highest picks in the European
draft but last year it didn't help as the government over their wouldn't let
him come over and play hockey so we traded him away and he ended up playing
in the end of the season so hopefully this year it will all work out.
_I wondered what happened to him I he played his minor hockey with my
brother (if I'm wrong Keith you can correct me) in comox we knew then that
he was going to be a good one. bit of a puck hog then but other than that he
was alright player.
