Re: Equestrian Mini-Collegium - THANK YOU!!

Thank you, Nesta, for your planning and direction on the Roman Drills work.
That was a fun and new challenge.

I look forward to hearing from folks as to their thoughts for another collegium.

Tegan

Mini-Collegium Practice yesterday. The weather held out very nice for us, which
was wonderful! We had 11 riders and 10 horses in attendance, just the right
number for us all to be able to work together. Once again the SPR horses worked
out very nicely, and we are so pleased to have that option. I also want to
thank everyone who came out yesterday. I hope you enjoyed yourselves. We were
so excited to be able to try out the new double quintain, which most of the
horses adapted to very well!!

ideas for next time, and we would like to get everyone else's feedback as well.
This was a trial run this time, and as such we know that some things went better
than others. We tried some new things and worked off of what had gone well at
the last practice. For those of you who attended please e-mail back to us the
following ideas so that we can plan for the future -

obstacle course; or smaller pieces to work on specific, isolated skills (leg
yeild/spear throwing? or some of both like we attempted yesterday? Do you want
more instruction before you start each activity? Or would that be overkill?)

collegium had much more off horse activity planned, but we chopped most of it
out for yesterday to maximize riding time),

you like? Do you want more? less? From who?)

tell us what kinds of activities you MOST want to practice at our practices.
