RE: [CGequestrian]

Thank you Lady Anne for saying exactly what I was thinking. Horses are a very expensive habit. It is not reasonable to expect any working stable to shut down their normal income to give any group a free day. If you go to a class A show expect to drop at least $100. and ride maybe 20 min total...

Dear Gentle Worthies of the Equestrian Persuasion,

Greetings from Lady Anne of Caer Galen.
I have been following the e mails posted, and would like to enter my thoughts on matters discussed.
It is always good and usually productive to discuss plans for the warmer weather, and I would like all to
know that I intend to participate in any and all activities held at Sun Pony.  I have no idea whether they
will go off without a hitch or not, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.  I have never felt as welcome at
any venue as I have at Sun Pony, and I fully agree that $30 dollars would not be an excessive price for
a complete event of any size or scope.  Has anyone gone to a real horse show lately?  Aside from all the
associations you must join, just showing up can cost three times that price, and you get little for it.
As to what games and activities are used, I will try them all, and if I don't crash, I will probably try
them a second time.  I feel the secret to all things equine is having a well trained horse, and a rider
with some skill and even more common sense.  I will strive for those goals, whatever you lay out.
As an aside to Tegan, anytime you want to use our Reed setup, we will be happy to bring it over to
Sun Pony.  I know it is a crowd favorite, and it is a favorite of mine also.
Again I repeat, anything you wish to use, I will try, and I hope some people will make some props and
test them at practices.  That is truly the only way to see what works.

Yours in Service

Lady Anne
