Its come upon us fast - next week on this day (Sunday) will be the Coursers & Quivers.Morgan indicated that she will be bringing a second horse if someone wants to ride and doesn't already have a horse. It is the little grey Arab she brought to Crossroads. This horse is suitable for an advanced rider for the games (probably intermediate for general riding). If you are interested, let Morgan know. I have cc'd her on this message. There are some stalls available for the day (or night). If you need them please let us know right away! We'll have a good time this year - Ceceila is planning some fun games including some of the pairs racing that we did at Crossroads. And you'll have plenty of time to practice earlier in the day if you like. You can arrive between 9 a.m. - noon. Please be there by noon so that we can start on time at 1 p.m. We have the arena set for practice between 10 and Noon, and then reset for the first contests for 1 p.m. Also, don't forget to write a little introduction of yourself and your horse. Making things up is fine. At a minimum include your persona name, persona residence (e.g. Wales, Languedoc, Normandy, or a town name, and timeframe or century), then your horse's SCA name. The site is really nice, and one of the owners is even going to be riding with us this year! Please follow parking directions when you arrive. There is good parking on the back side of the barn, and not in the field where some trailers parked last year. I'll try to bring the equestrian waivers to you to sign when you first arrive. Then you can go up and finish troll when you have your horses settled.Don't forget that Smiling Bull is doing a great cold lunch for us - served at noon. Bring plenty of water, and we'll have water available on site as well.Any questions, let us know. Thanks!Nesta
