Don’t forget our regularly scheduled equestrian practice is tomorrow from 10 - noon at Mountain View Stables (www.mvsaa.com). Last chance at an official practice before Coursers & Quivers!
Also, if you haven't e-mailed Ceceila yet to let her know you're planning on attending Coursers & Quivers, please do so. She is finalizing plans for the activities/contests and it helps to have a general idea of the numbers involved.
Also, we would like to put out the standard plea (do you hear the begging tone in my voice?) for ground crew at Coursers & Quivers. If you or a significant other is interested in helping with ground crew, let us know! We would like to have a couple of people to help set the equipment in the morning (10 a.m.) and then during the events (1 p.m. - 3 p.m. ish) to set and reset as needed. Authorizations are no longer needed for ground crew.
We are excited about the event, and hope to see everyone there! A wonderful cold lunch is being prepared by the Smiling Bull. And it looks like we may be setting up extra shade for the spectators (HE William has a BC we can use, and Garin says that it should fit along the top for the equestrian spectator area - if it doesn't fit there, we will set it in the archery area). Oh yeah, and we'll need a few hands to help set the BC.
Put the word out to your friends and family to come watch the event. And don't forget to write up a small announcement about yourself (your persona) and your horse (or your horse's persona - did he go on crusades? Is he a veteran tournament horse?) I'm working on getting a good herald for our event as well.
Thanks everyone!
