Our first Official Equestrian Practice of the year will be at Mountain View Stables in Ft Collins on Sunday, March 30th.  Our practices start promptly at 10:00 a.m., and you can bring your horses earlier to get ready to ride and set up the arena.  We only have till noon in the arena.

 

Since this is an official practice, it may be possible to do authorizations, as long as there are two Marshalls in attendance.  If you do not have a new authorization card since the new rules took effect in November, then you will want to get authorized before your first event.  Now all riders in order to be authorized have to be able to canter their horse (and there is either a general riding or a games level).

 

The first event planned in our area this year will be at Crossroads in Byers, Colorado on May 25th.  This event has the possibility to camp with your horse at the facility - which is a fairgrounds with stalls!
