Subject: [Sca-List] OT horses xpst

Good morning everyone.  This message is as heavily crossposted as I can get it, and I ask that you please also crosspost as you can to get this missive out there.  As many of you know, every week I visit a healer/acupuncturist in Keenesburg named Holly Barrett.  I have a deep abiding respect for this woman as she has helped return myself to me after a long period of self-neglect and environmental and spiritual  chaos.  But whether you want a healer or not is not the subject of this post.  I am saddened to say that Holly finds herself in the middle of an unpleasant and divisive divorce and she has to break up her herd of 11 horses.   She asked me to please spread the word about these horses in the hopes of finding homes for them.  They are beautiful and wonderful animals, and she will strike a deal with you that simply cannot be beat.  I mean it; I’m not going to advertise what she wants for these animals because only people serious about taking a horse should contact her.  That means that if you always wanted a horse but have nowhere to put it, or think owning a horse would be marvelous but aren’t zoned for it (like me, sadly), you should just send her good thoughts and hope the beasts find homes.  She needs to relocate seven of her horses.  So if you are SERIOUSLY interested please give her a call at 303-888-1188.  Let her know you got the message from me.

 

This is a long shot, but I would also like to know if anyone has any information for me on the practical side of boarding a horse: what the real-life (not subjective or projected, but hands-on-I-know-this answer) cost and commitment is, potential boarding places and reviews of them, equipment cost, etc.  It’s not out of the question for our family to take a horse and board it, as long as it’s not going to break the bank or be an unreasonable time commitment.  I have no experience in this area, so I ask for the collective wisdom to enlighten me…
