Lady Anne, Thanks so much for getting all that information for us. As you are marshall we will go with whatever decision on rules you are comfortable with. The new rules seem reasonable.
For anyone who has not let us know if you are planning to bring a horse, please do. I am trying to lay out the games in the arena space now and knowing about how many horses will be there would help. It would also help in deciding what prizes etc to have on hand.
I have already had people asking if I was bringing my "loaner" horse. I will not be, he is scheduled for giving kids lessons that day. My two horses are already filled with riders.
We are going to be looking for ground crew. I have some already but the more hands the smother things will go.
I thought about you folks on Sunday hauling back from Kiowa and stuck in a traffic jam on I70 for almost an hour with horses who were clearly unhappy with being stopped but not geting unloaded. Ft Collins would have been so much easier and more fun, but I did get to introduce what we do to a large new group of people who were very excited about it.

Subject: [CGequestrian] New SCA rules
Greetings,Had a really great time at the last official practice in Unser Hafen and had a chance to meet with Moyra and Ana to discuss the new regulations. The good news is that there is a 30 day grace period lasting until the 20th of November so Toys for Tots will not be affected. After that, there are no more levels, no walk trot canter. The expectation is that if you enter an event or present yourself for authorization you will be able to take part at the canter. You can ride at official practices without authorization if you are a current SCA member. Authorization activities include authorization for general riding, mounted games, ground crew, mounted combat, jousting, crest combat, and marshall. Those riding at Toys for Tots who want to re-authorize at the event can make arrangements with me to do so. I will be happy to go over details with you all then.A quick note to Lady Morgan--I plan to meet with you Thursday evening to load equipment. See you then. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday.Yours in service,Lady AnneEAT WHAT YOU WANT AND DRESS UP AS YOU
