Australian shepards are great with children, we have several in our extended
family. They will actually "herd" your kids in, if they get close to the street.
They naturally stand between your child and a stranger. They are loving, and
extremely patient. They do need exercise daily.. YOu need to be able to walk
them every day .they are one of the best breeds for children! Wendy Paxton
