Caloosa Equestrian Park ~Beeline Highway ~ Palm Beach Gardens
Do you like to take long rides in the woods? Camp with your horse? Have you ever thought about trying the sport of distance riding? Join us for a weekend of fun while learning about this exciting activity! We’ll have informative speakers on Saturday, Dinner on Saturday night, followed on Sunday morning with a mock 10 mile competitive ride along the beautiful easements in Caloosa.
CAMP OPENS Friday, Dec 11 at noon. Potluck dinner Fri night (Bring a dish to share and your chair!) Saturday - Registration begins 7:30 am. Speakers begin promptly at 9 am. Dinner at 6 pm.
Sunday – Vet check-in at 8 am, Ride begins at 9:30 am. This is a mock competition, ALL horses must have a pre-ride & post-ride “vet check”.
TOPICS will cover Conditioning tips, Ride Strategies, Camping tips, Trot Outs, Hoof care / Boot fitting AND MORE!
Mock ride (10 miles) includes practice pre & post ride Vet-ins.
CAMPING/AMENITIES – At Caloosa Park – large open grassy fields with some shade trees. No showers, no electric. Some fenced paddocks available for a fee/night – Reservations Required. Portable pens/corrals (25’ x 25’) or tie lines are allowed.
FOOD – Potluck dinner Friday night & breakfast Sunday morning is provided with payment for full clinic. Lunch will be on your own but will be available for purchase. Sat night dinner is $8.00. Shell mini-mart is within one mile, other restaurants and groceries are available approximately 10 miles away in Jupiter or Palm Beach Gardens.
