Awwww.....she looks like her name, Michele.....a real Sweetie! You will be amazed at the transformation of your horse as the weeks go by....she'll fill out, and by spring, her coat will shed completely, leaving her looking shiny and healthy again. And it sounds like all her "female" parts are working, lol. I guess she 'ain't that old, eh? ; ) Let us know how she does with the "Sentences" Brent showed you. It's always exciting when you start working with your horse, and they start reacting to what you are teaching them. Good luck, and I look forward to your updates.
Best to you and Sweetie...
Pam

I added a couple photos of Sweetie that were taken the first week of
January before we moved to our new home. It's only been a month, but
even now she looks a little different to me... although she just went
through some major shedding these last couple days so that might be it.
Oh, and Sweetie went into season the day she was put out with a couple
geldings. She was acting like the animal she is and "presented"
herself to one young guy that she obviously found attractive. He must
have forgotten he wasn't a stallion though because the little dummy
tried to mount her sideways. LOL!
It was weird though, because I've never seen her go in season before
and there were two geldings at her other home... but they were mean to
her, so maybe thats why?? It's all greek to me! Either way, she is
noticeably happier with ears perked up and paying attention to the
activity around the barn a lot more than she used to.
Can't wait to see her reaction to the newly acquired training skills
taught to me by Brent. *grin* She's so used to just eating and mulling
about with an occassional ride... she wont know what to do with the
idea of regular excercise.
