- Need Volunteers and Volunteer Leaders
Hi Jane,BTCEB does trailwork about 1x/month during the winter and spring seasons. The event on the 6th and 7th will be the largest trailwork event we’ve had in a long time and will kick off the season. We expect that we will have trailwork days at Garin,Pleasanton Ridge ,Del Valle andand potentially a few others. Mt. Diablo We have “Mountain Bike Basics” classes periodically. They are intended for brand new mountain bikers and teach the basics of bike set-up, shifting, braking and trail etiquette. More information is here: http://www.btceb.org/basics. htm As for intermediate “classes,” we don’t usually go that far. However, someone who has basic skills can ride on one of our beginner group rides. If there is no beginner ride, we can recruit a ride leader and organize one. We also have the pulse on several weekly recurring rides in the area of various skill levels.Regards,Dan
