Steve Boutte Memorial Ride & More

Meet at the Castro Valley Park & Ride, located on Center St. at I580, in Castro Valley. We will join the Diablo Cyclists in Pleasant, on the Memorial Ride for long-time bay area cyclist Steve Boutte. Ride heads out Foothill Blvd. To Sunol and than out to Calaveras Rd. The Memorial ride ends at the reservoir but we will continue on Calaveras Rd. to “The Wall” and take Felter Rd. towards Sierra Rd. We return to Sunol via the same route and ride Niles Canyon to Palomares Rd. and Palomares back to Castro Valley. One food stop in Sunol, on the return ride. Bring food to eat on the bike & water. Great scenery! Little traffic! Be at the Park & Ride by 8:15am as ride leaves at 8:30am. Route sheets provided.
