See below.  Long story short: Habitat for Humanity is looking to host a tri at Prince Gallitzin. They're holding a planning meeting Wednesday, March 26 at 6:00.  I'm hoping to attend, but my work schedule is out of hand right now.  I'm sure they'd appreciate your help. 

 

Also, a heads up...  SFU will be doing another installment of the lecture series.  This time we're targeting new runners, and talking about training for--and running--your first 5k.  They're looking at April 14 or 15 as possible dates. 

 

Due to schedule changes, Kevin Doyle and I will begin running Saturday mornings in the coming months, probably around 7:00am.  I'll try and send a note in advance with times/dates/places.

Yes, I'd be glad to have any help we can get. We have never held anything  like this and anyone who knows anything about it and could lend a hand would be great. Dan Bickel also mentioned trying to put together a 5K or 10K race. We plan to have a meeting on Mar 26 @ 6pm a@ the park office near the marina. I will let you know if anything changes and will confirm that meeting date when I get confirmation. Glad to have you with us.

Board Members,
We have been contacted by Dan Bickel, Park Manager for Prince Gallitzin State Park, concerning setting up a triathlon for later this year or possibly next year. 
The meeting is set for Wednesday, March 26 at 6:00 pm at the Glendale park office (downstairs) near the Marina.  Parking is available on the bottom side of the building(near the lake).  This is not a confirmed time or date but just to give you a "heads up" if you would be interested in attending.  We will send again when we have a confirmation.
