The City of Olympia Parks, Arts and Recreation is planning on doing an Interim Use and Management Plan for Chambers Lake Park this year, which is immediately adjacent to the Chehalis-Western Trail and has
an upcoming public input workshop about this. Since this park has great potential for use by cyclists, please pass along this information to your members of the Capital Bicycling Club. Thanks!

The City of Olympia owns a 46-acre undeveloped park adjacent to Chambers Lake and the Chehalis-Western Trail at 4808 Herman Rd SE. Funds for full development of this park will likely not be available for several
years. Funds are available, however, for some interim improvements in 2009. Improvements could include improved trails, picnic tables, or benches. What ideas do you have for interim improvements on this site? City staff would like to know. Please share
your ideas at this public input workshop.
