I have attached a letter that Olympia Safe Streets has sent to Lacey on this project.   We believe that state law requires that the City comply with WSDOT design standards, which provide for minimum 5-foot bike lanes where curbs are present. 

I let Brian know this was a problem after the last workshop.  

I urge the Club to similarly communicate with the City about this project.

that are only 36 inches wide. I'm no expert but with rain drains at 12
to 18" doesn't that only leave about 18 to 24 inches which is less

always assuming you will stay in that lane no mater what grate, stick,
