I had to remove most of the photos to get this through Yahoo mail's size limit. I did send them all to Carol D in a separate message.

Subject: November 20 - Envelope Stuffing @ DOL
Brian Faller,Nancy Thompson and I met with Kirsten Chase of DOL on
Tuesday night November 20 to assemble and stuff a mailing to 400 driver
training schools across Washington.
The mailing had the Guide, Test, and DVD the schools will use in the
new Bicycle/Car mutual safety (I can't remember the official title)
session as well as information about several other programs DOL needed
to communicate to the schools.
I've watched and listened to Brian as he worked on this since the legislative session last spring but didn't really appreciate how much effort went into the project until I saw the huge pile of paper we had to deal with and took time to read the material. The curriculum is modeled on Oregon's, the DVD is from Illinois, the printed safety guide is from Maine and was produced for the project by the Bicycle Alliance of Washington.
Special thank' s to:
Photos from the evening are attached
2170, 2171 & 2172 are all of Kirsten teaching Brian and Nancy what she needed done
2173 & 2174 are all four of us at the beginning
2175 is about 3/4 of the outcome from the evening. (The mail room had a lot to do the next morning.)

Special thank' s to:
- Brian, Gordon Black and the Bicycle Alliance of Washington for such hard work to pull the project together that adds the new session to the Driver Training curriculum on driving safely around bicycles on the road. Without both of you this would not have happened.
- Tana Cochran, Kirsten Chase and Latrisha Gallegos at the Department of Licensing for terrific cooperation with the bicycling community and what had to be a whole bunch of work inside DOL to create and produce the packets for the 400 driving schools.
- Kirsten did a fabulous job setting up the room and getting access so Brian, Nancy and I could come to DOL after normal work hours and stuff the mailing.
- CBC member, Nancy Thompson for taking her valuable evening to stuff envelopes and help Kirsten keep Brian and I on track.
