There are a couple of openings on the Olympia Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.
This is the group that created the plan for Olympia's bikeway network, the plan for the sidewalk improvement program, and advises the City Council on everything related to non-motorized transportation.

is accepting applications for volunteer advisory committees until
Friday, February 24, 5:00 p.m. Information and application forms are
posted on the City's website, www.ci.olympia.wa.us, and available at Olympia City
Hall, 900 Plum Street SE.

Also, the Olympia City Council will appoint one member each to the Thurston Community Television Board and the Human Services Review Council, and recommend seven individuals for the new Olympia Police Chief's Forum being created by Olympia Police Chief Gary Michel.
