Few days ago while I was doing my routine blog hopping, I read this entry of Meeya regarding a certain yaya. I thought it was just another “yaya tribute” but I was so surprised to read that this yaya is actually a fugitive and is being hunted down by police authorities. A link there took me to Carol’s blog.

I do not know Carol and it was my first time to land on her blog, but upon reading her story, I realized that I have to do something to help her in her cause. Since I started using the SEO strategy just last week, my traffic grew and the contact pages of my blog was non stop in sending me correspondence regarding different inquiries, interviews and requests from people I never met before. So in my mind, using Marghil Macuha’s project, I think this will really give a good exposure to Carol’s cause.

I have been helping many bloggers in the past 8 months, returning the blessings that I received form the Lord (Yes even though I am a sinner, deep inside there is this unquenchable thirst to help others.). I have been posting politics, religion, memes and senseless funny videos in my blog, yet this topic is worth the space. Ever since I got that huge surge of traffic, I wanted to use it not just for the financial advantage of this blog (because the truth is it is only secondary if you know the real score) but also to help other people in widening the cover of their cause in the internet.

So to cut my sentiments short, Carol’s Yaya Josephine has been abusing her children for sometime now. She found marks of bruises from the kids’ bodies. And what made me interested in her detailed story was the behavior of the kids.

Having been granted a certificate of license by the New York State Nurses Association and New York State Education Department last December 29, 2006 on Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse, I am well aware of the behavioral hints of abusers and abused children. Before granting me that License by the NYSNA and NYSED, I studied thoroughly in identifying among patients the possibility of child abuse cases. And in Carol’s story, I already saw that there is a possible case of child abuse even before I read the details in the rest of her story.

One hint I suppose that Parents should remember is that, when there is no clear cause of any bruises or injury, and the Yaya or anyone who takes care of the children fails to come up with a rational explanation of the injury, possibility is, the child was either abused or molested. In addition, the fact that Carol’s children are too afraid and too quiet in the presence of the yaya, there is already a hint of potential child abuse because children can be very trusting to their caregivers. But once children loses this trust, it is very rare that they give it back.

We have seen so many variations of Pinay scandal in this project of Marghil and I think of all the scandals that we saw, this is that kind of scandal that really needs attention and traffic.

It broke my heart upon learning that after the Yaya abused the children, she left them unattended for hours and running away with Carol’s valuables. I never like child molesters and abusers. Maybe that is the reason why I turned this post into such a big deal.

So please my dear blogger friends, let us help Carol in her cause because this story can happen to any of our kids. We need to protect them from trauma and injuries because for heaven sakes they do not deserve this kind of treatment.

All of us have experienced being a child ourselves and I think we do not want this kind of abuses happening to our own children. I myself have been a battered child before that is why it really breaks my heart whenever I read stories like this.

We bloggers are sometimes obliged to post some irrelevant Ka Pepes just for the sole purpose of being paid. Yet I think spending at least 15 minutes doing a short entry on your blog with the criminal Yaya’s picture posted in it will surely help bring quick justice to Carol’s kids. As of this writing, Carol and her husband already filed charges and disseminated pictures of her in different ferry transits. Therefore, it is possible that Josephine Gatan is still in the Luzon Area.
