Not exactly what you are looking for...but the empty chamber volume on a vert
175 head is 20.5cc. I'd imagine the sloper is very close to that.

iron S90 cylinder. Much larger dome on the 175 piston.

Kinda off-topic project here, but maybe of interest. I've got my 175 sloper
apart due to a holed piston, and at the same time I'm building a S90 engine for
my Van Tech framed project bike.

Comparing the two, very similar combustion chamber shapes, cam specs, carb size,
etc. The pistons have the same pin height and diameter, similar skirt length.
175 bore is +2mm, and there's plenty of room for that overbore in the iron S90
cylinder. Much larger dome on the 175 piston.

Looks like an opportunity for some extra cc's and higher compression on the S90.

Stock S90 has 8.2:1 compression with a 19cc combustion chamber and a 6.6cc
piston dome.

Anyone know the piston dome volume on the 175 sloper? Or combustion chamber
volume? I could calculate the dome volume from that. Let's see what kind of
compression this combo might have.

I'm not sure how much compression the S90 will tolerate, as temperature may be a
problem as there isn't a lot of finning on the head. Opinions?

Subject: [vjmc] Last chance seat

Folks,
As amazing as it might be, I've been unable to give away a seat! Specifically,
I have a seat from a 1969 Honda CL175K3. The pan is good, the seat cover
is fair. All the foam is shot, crumbling and about 50% of it has gone. Nobody
wanted it so this is the last chance for it. If someone wants it, cost
of shipping
at it is yours. Otherwise it goes to the dumpster.

Any suggestions where to get an output shaft seal for a '68 CL160?

Mine's giving up the ghost. The harder I ride, the more it leaks.
