Earthlink will not let me reply directly to you the span filter willnot let me email you. Sorry to every one for not taking our business of line.
The Ti rids are the same Wight as the stock rods. They are designed stronger to allow for heaver pistons. No additional balancing is required. I have run these cranks with lighter and heaver piston/rod combination with no ill effects to the vibration levels of the motor.
If I were to split the crank and reassemble it for you it would be another 150$. It is a lot of work to do.
The bottom line on the deal is I am just trying to get mine for free in the end. I had 6 sets laser cut and I made one set for last years motor. I gave them to my brother for Christmas. I have 2 orders now. Mostly it is just fun. If john gets a set that will be the last of them.
Let me know if you are going to want some as soon as you can. The CNC proton of the job will run next week. God willing. ;}

I do have a very good used crank with rods. (big ends anyway) If I understand you right, Your cutting off the big end of the rod, machining it andpressing it into the new Ti rods for the Races? Interesting. Lots of machine work! Surprised you can do it for that.If I sent you the crank. Does the $700.00 include you splitting it apart and reassemble the Crank with the Ti rods? (I have no way to split them). I would need to send it toFalicon to get it re balanced right?How much lighter would you estimate they are?ThanksMike Riddle----- Original Message -----Sent: 6/27/2007 1:19:05 AMSubject: [SPAM] [CB175RaceTech] Digest Number 232Messages In This Digest (2 Messages)

I am looking to get 700 for a set. I need a set of good stock rods in exchange. They become the races for the new rods. The small end of the Ti rods are bushed with bronze insets. That means you can refresh these rods over and over. Carrillo wants 800 for a set of steel rods. There is a month lead time to get them, and I need the money upfront. The CNC version will be lighter than the first set I made. They are still running strong.

Hello
I might be interested in a set of Ti Rods.
What is the projected cost?
Mike.

What plug do you use in your modified engines?
In the 60s I had to use D10H plugs as the D8H plugs were too hot for
WOT.
Thanks,
