the parts from rotating separately Two pins 180 apart will insure
this, but one will work..... I use a dremel tool with a cut-off wheel
to widen the slot in the kicker as well, so it can "pinch" closer
(tighter) before drilling the keyway

I have a '69 cl175 and the splines on the kick start shaft are really worn out. I've broken two bolts trying tighten the kick starter down as much as i could,...
