Just catching up on my email and noticed the discussion of using a
bicycle speedometer/computer. It just so happens I have been gathering
information about using a bicycle computer on my little CL 100cc race
bike. Maybe it's a matter of great minds think alike. LOL
In my case the bike has to be street legal, because the only races in
the works for this area will be on public streets. I'm going with the
bicycle computer for several reasons.
1. Less drag
2. light weight
3. less drain on the charging system
4. I'm on a very tight budget for this project (thanks to a challenge
to build a road race bike for less than $500, the donor bike was free.
