Chicago Area Tandem Society (CATS) is a bicycle club comprised of tandem bicyclists. Our membership is made up of teams from all over the Chicagoland area and we even have a few members in other states. Members age range from 8 to 86. We have teams that ride 100-mile rides every weekend, and teams that barely get a 100 miles in during the year. There are speed demon teams and there are teams that amble at very comfortable paces. It doesn't matter what type or age of tandem you have (or even if you don't have one yet) you'll find you're welcome in CATS as long as you like tandems.
