I was in Las Vegas about two weeks ago ( Stayed at Ceasars Palace, around $200/night).  I did go down to the Plaza Hotel as it is a great place to park to visit The Fremont Street Experience.  The hotel looks about the same as far as the casino goes( with new carpet) and the Poker room has been greatly improved.  You can't beat the price for a Las Vegas Hotel for the cost of the rooms for the CAC reunion.  Stay at the Plaza, it's convenient and worth the price.
