You may have already received you currant newsletter, was mailed last
Tuesday from Dean Silverstone in Seattle. It's expanded to 16 pages
with a lot of good information. For those of you not members the
ballot results for 2007 are in there. Las Vegas 31%, St Louis 24%,
New Engalnd 15%, Nashville 6%, Minneapolis 6%, Los Angeles 6%,
Atlanta 4%,Charlotte 4%, and Dallas 2%.
I was kinds hoping for St Louis but close only counts in horseshoes.
Last week had a nice time working a show, for the Athletic Commission
with Harley Race and the CAC's newest member Dusty "The American
Dream" Rhodes. Dusty has one keen sence of humer and a lot of fun to
talk to or just listen to. He said he plans to be in Vegas next June
to be a part of Harley getting the Iron Mike Mazurki award. If you
never met Dusty your in for treat.
On a sad note this issue lists 15 names for the R.I.P. section sence
the last issue. Lord Alfred Hayes, Al Kashey, Megel Perez, Shinya
Hashimoto, El Matador, Guy Brunetti, Chris Candito, Black Angus,
Bobby Whitlock, George Curtis, Roger Mackey, Tony Lanza, Pistol Pete
Whatley, Ray Villmer, and Buddy Porter. This alone is the best reason
to attend the CAC reunions, all but 3 were CAC members. Plus just the
other day we lost Chris Tolos.
The honoree list is complete except for the lady wrestler and future
legend, Morgan will be highlighting them individually in the next few
weeks on the web site.
Glad to hear Wes is on the mend and he has to be in good shape as he
was the 11th person to get his reservation in for next year already,
he will be so close to the front he can count the stitches in Mil
Mascaras's mask.
Hope all are doing well and now that we are in the swing of things I
will try to post more information as it happens.
