here it is Christmas day late afternoon and we have just returned
home to our side of the ranch. Spent the morning watching the 4 grand-
kids open present and exchanging gifts and just enjoying family and
friends.
When you think about it after the presents and all the temporary
excitement what you remember most of all is the conversation and new
memories just made. like my 7 year old grand daughter who said
Grandpa, can I paint your toe nails, you are reading a writing from a
68 year old with candy apple toe nails, with most of the toe also in
full color, do i feel silly, not a bit, do I have a memory , you bet.
We have once again lost some dear friends and members, One of the
nicest and most giving men i have ever known Tiger Conway SR has left
us and just yesterday the wonderful lady and wife of Big Sky Bill
Bowman lost her battle with the big C, Ann Bowman who worked
tirelessly for the gulf coast reunions and the CAC events in Vegas.
The fantastic Don Jardine AKA The Spoiler, had just bought his
tickets for Vegas only 7 days before his untimely death. El Shareff
another headliner has taken the 10 count, all in the last few days.
There are others but these 4 in just the last days, those that were
at the CAC last June have memories of 3 of these 4 who were there.
Probably the main reason not to miss attending our reunions, no one
has a guarantee about tomorrow, so we need to make the best out of
today.
I started out saying 358 memories, that is the number of days gone in
2006 and each and every day should provide a new memory, some good
and some not so good but still a memory.
Things are shaping up real good for Vegas and its only 4 months away,
so if you have not made your reservation please do so ASAP, remember
your seat is based on the day i receive your reservation.
Canada will be well represented this year for the Friday night event
and we will have a lot of first time wrestlers coming in for this.
Be well and have a healthy and happy new year.
