>>>FA Barclaycard Premiership 03/04 : Sunday 28th September : The
Valley :

>Charlton Athletic:
Centre-back Chris Perry is likely to be in Charlton's starting line-
up for Sunday's Premiership clash with Liverpool after a clause in
his loan deal from Tottenham ruled him out of the Carling Cup victory
over Luton in midweek.
Richard Rufus was on the bench on Tuesday night and it is unsure
whether he is fit enough for a Premiership start, but fellow
defenders Hermann Hreidarsson and Gary Rowett and definitely out with
knee injuries.
Jason Euell is suspended for the match while Carlton Cole is still
waiting for a verdict on his hip complaint, leaving Paolo di Canio,
Kevin Lisbie and Shaun Bartlett to battle it out for the two forward
slots.

Charlton (from): Kiely, Kishishev, Stuart, Fish, Parker, Rufus,
Perry, Jensen, Lisbie, Bartlett, Konchesky, Young, Johansson,
Fortune, Leite, Holland, Royce, di Canio, Sankofa, Campbell-Ryce.

>Liverpool:
Liverpool's Danny Murphy is struggling to recover from a leg muscle
injury in time for Sunday's trip to Charlton.
The midfielder was forced off early in the first half of the 1-1
UEFA Cup draw with Olimpija Ljubljana on Wednesday.
Steven Gerrard is expected to return after a knee injury saw him
dropped to the bench in midweek while El-Hadji Diouf returns to the
squad, and almost certainly the side, after suspension.
Stephane Henchoz, an unused substitute in Slovenia, is also pushing
for a return after his calf problems, but Igor Biscan has done well
as his stand-in and could hold his place.

Liverpool (from): Dudek, Finnan, Biscan, Henchoz, Hyypia, Riise,
Diouf, Gerrard, Kewell, Smicer, Owen, Heskey, Luzi, Diao, Murphy,
Traore, Sinama-Pongolle, Le Tallec, Welsh.
