Charlton expect defender Danny Shittu to complete
a permanent move to Second Division QPR early this
week.
The clubs have agreed a £350,000 deal, with an
initial fee of £250,000, plus four instalments of £25,000
after 25, 50, 75 and 100 appearances, and a 25 per cent
sell-on.
The 21-year-old, who had indicated he would not
re-sign for the Addicks when his contract expires at the
end of the season, has just started his third month
on loan at Loftus Road.
With Jon Fortune signing
a new deal, Jorge Costa recruited in a £500,000
loan at least until the end of the season and Richard
Rufus returning to fitness, as well as Mark Fish, Steve
Brown and Eddie Youds in the squad, it was felt
Shittu's first-team opportunities would be
limited.

©CAFC.co.uk
