Charlton midfielder John Robinson is so desperate
to avoid a repeat of last season's FA Cup wobble he
has told his team-mates to treat third-round
opponents Blackpool as if they are Manchester United.<br>
Alan Curbishley's men go into the clash with the
mid-table Division Two club fully aware they came within a
whisker of writing the most embarrassing chapter in the
Addicks history books at the same stage of last year's
competition.<br> Dagenham & Redbridge stunned The Valley by taking
the lead and it took a late goal from John Salako to
force a replay Curbishley's side squeaked through
1-0.<br> Now Robinson, who scored the goal that sparked
the home comeback in the thrilling 3-2 New Year's Day
victory over Ipswich, has now demanded the utmost respect
for Blackpool.<br>"We have to give Blackpool respect,
in the same way as we would against Manchester
United," he said.<br>"People expect us to roll them over
by three or four - but that will not happen. Last
year, it was difficult. Hopefully it won't be Dagenham
and Redbridge all over again. We have to start better
than the Ipswich match and maybe get an early
goal."<br><br>©FA-Premier.com
