BMX racing NOV. 27th practice at 8:30am, races at 9:30am
Hey Chester, how bout a 125 over 40 class, and a 250/open over 40
class, hahahahahahahahahha......
Same here, we had a real good time, ditto on the heat thing, my boys
really like that track, because they both ride 50's, they really like
that hard packed stuff. I am more of a Burleson kinda guy, but next
time we come I will probably line up with you old guys. I will be going
to BMX this weekend, if your there I will holler at ya, if not I will
holerr at ya next time at WMX. Ride safe, and a have agreat day !
Nice to meet you Mike, hope you & the kids had fun. Sorry I didn't get
a chance to visit with you more but I was running around like a chicken
whos nuts got caught in a tractor (to quote one of my favorite movie
lines). Hope to see you down this way again, perhaps it'll be a little
cooler next time.
Thanks for the replys, those young uns always come up with something, I
am sure we will all have fun. This will be the youngest's son 3 rd
race, he is just starting to learn. A couple of weeks back was his
first race at Burleson, when he finished I was waiting on him at the
finish line( I don't know who was more tired me or him, haha). I asked
him "how was it", his reply, " Damm I'm thirsty", hahaha. C-YA
sorry the 8 yr old question cracked me up. Let me tell you what my
older brother told me to tell my 12 year old when he races: Ride
like it is just the track and you;you are trying to beat the track.
Those little ones are so much fun to watch!!! Tell them good luck!
dee in garland.
Hey Blaze, another quick question. We have a couple of young uns coming with us this weekend to ride the 50 class. They keep asking me this question so I told them I would check with you. (remember this is coming from an 8 year old). He asked " Do they give trophys to all the 50 class riders like Burleson or do they just give them to the fast guys"?

Just wanted to say Thanks to Chester and the gang, another good Sunday
of racing (July24th) We all had a great time and thank goodness for all
those SHADE TREES, hahah.
None I can think of

Subject: Re: [BurlesonMX] Re: FORGOT ABOUT THIS TRACK
I know what ya mean, the over 30 class there is pretty good class, the over 40 class is probably one of the fastest over 40 classes around, those guys fly, especially the top 3-4 riders. I am 47 and sometimes ride the over 30 class just because I can actually see some of the riders, hahahaha.
-Thanks James....but I still didn't see the class for almost 40, over weight, and very out of shape class

This track is still old school MX, great place to start the young ones out on. The 50 class gives trophys to all participants. They give the regular 1-5 places and then the rest of the 50 class get participation trophys. The kids really look forward to getting that trophy.Come on out and check it out. > scott <sa654@h...> wrote:Dang I forgot about this place used to practice here all the time.
