I guess around 8 a.m.?  I could swing earlier or later if needed to accommodate anyone else's schedule.

Congrats on your 107, Duncan.  The shirt might have slowed you down, but I bet you looked good in it!

And Hot Breath isn't mentioning it, but she ran a 90 minute race.  I saw Allen with a 100 minute and I pulled up the rear with a 107 (must have been Daphne's shirt....that's my story....I'm sticking to it!)

Daphne--what time Saturday?

Hi, everyone!  Yes, the conditions sucked, I must agree. BUt nice tailwind, wasn't it? Helped the sprint to the finish. :-) I didn't run for 3 weeks prior, but managed to finish without any discomfort at 84:30....:-)....However, I am definitely sore now...... BTW, did anyone see the 7-foot tall "blue bikini" man? .....That was a nice wake-up!

Conditions were less than favorable, but the Burke Lake Runners persevered at Cherry Blossom.  Special recognition should go to our two cross-dressers:  Randy, also known as Nubia; and sub-70 Beau, also known as Kathy.  The guys earned their girl shirts for sure!

I won't be running this Sunday (Easter Sunday.)  I am hoping to squeeze in a Burke Lake run on Saturday morning instead.  Is anyone interested?

Cherry Blossom Runners I suggest we meet at the Vienna Metro at 6am inside by the ticket vending machines. We have about 1.5 mile walk/jog from the depot to race start.

Any proposals on where we should all meet up before the race?
I will bring Beau's bib with me.  Beau, you will either be running as a female in his 30s or a female in his 40s.  I hope this won't lead to future gender confusion issues.  How would we break the news to Piper?
I will be running as a 44-year old female, unless I trade shirts with Duncan and run as a 47-year old male.
My race day inspiration will be Frank the Tank:  "We're going streaking!"
I will NOT be riding my bike to the race.  I liked the idea, Beau, but it turns out my bike won't be back from its spring "tune-up" until next Tuesday.  But maybe we can try adding on a bike ride to our Sunday runs ...  either before or after.  No streaking allowed.
