IIRC Ryan was a 5-year college QB, who had a great running game in Atlanta. Flacco was a 5-year college QB, w/the best 'D' in football on the Ravens. That is y they were such unique successes, as rookies in the NFL.
This kid won't even start. He is totally raw & will need a ton of coaching. We already have a project QB but that was Gruden's guy & this is Morris' guy, so that kid is probably gone.
Morris says he is the franchise QB of the future, while McCown will start now. I doubt that very much but hope I'm wrong. He has the physical skills of Randall Cunningham who was league MVP twice. Lets just hope the kid gets good enough 2b a solid starting QB for the next 10 years & is not a bust.

Well the Bucs were indeed stupid to fire the OC & not have the new one know the system. But in general, it's hard to blame play-calling when Freeman just keeps...
