Yeah, I can't believe they went w/a QB when there were so many good defensive players on the board.  I liked Vontae Davis but there was also another good CB.  Ayers went to Denver after we picked & there was also a few good DE's like him.  There were also some 300+ DT's.  We could've used ANY of those guys more than another QB.
 
So the "project" QB Gruden drafted last year can pack his bags- our new coach wants the kid he recruited from high school.  Brian Griese has probably seen his last as well.  I suspect this kid will b a bust & another wasted 1st round pick.
