I hope we can work it out with Keenan. It was interesting though
to watch the draft from here in Denver. Shanahan wanted Clayton
badly and there was a lot of focus on him here. Later, Tampa con-
firmed that they did turn down a trade offer from Shanahan to get
up to our pick and take him. That tells me that he saw Mike as a
guy who come in here and help ease the loss of Ed McCaffrey. ;->

You know, after their flashy departures, a lot was said about how
Lynch and Sapp's performances affected the D in '03 but I believe
one of the biggest blows we suffered was losing Brian Kelly. I'm
looking for us to bounce back strong defensively in '04.
