After a championship guys tend to fall into 1 of 3 categories:
1) Guys who, despite good intentions, end up at too many "din-
ners in their honor" and struggle to get back to the level
of the previous year. I am more concerned about Sapp fall-
ing into this category.
2) Guys who are able to put it in perspective and get back to
work. Gruden's definitely in this category and, if you've
got enough of these guys, you can repeat. And,
3) Guys who, when confronted with the reality that they can't
just bask in the championship forever, struggle and become
frustrated. Pittman's got a history of struggling with do-
mestic issues and may fall into this category.
Gruden is less likely to cut a guy who's having problems than
Dungy but I'd walk the straight and narrow and begin focusing
on keeping my job this summer if I were him.
