hi, everybody! This Tuesday is going to be the last of the three-ride series
focused on the BTC members who are going to do the NYC triathlon, although,
obviously, it is a great workout for everybody. Last week was great to see 22
riders, but I just noticed something that I would like to avoid. Due to the
nature of the workout, we had five, less experienced female riders scattered
around instead of in a compact group. So on Tuesday I will be staying with the
slowest riders doing an easier workout: the hard effort from 3rd. Street will be
shorter and the big chain shift in the uphill will be optional, with the goal of
staying together for the whole hour. I am sure the most experienced riders will
manage with the help of regular like Tom, Ted, Conrad, Emily... This rides are
constantly evolving, and feedback is important, so keep using this forum for any
questions you might have or, if it is a more personal matter, feel free to send
me an e-mail at jalzorriz@...
This is the workout for Tuesday:
> First loop easy warmup, we will slow down at the top to regroup. Then, from
> the 3rd. Street entrance we will go pretty hard, no drafting and passing on
> the left.

> entrance (after the barricade a couple of minutes before getting into the
> hill) we will go pretty hard, no drafting, passing on the left only and

> we do the hill, easy until 3rd. Street entrance. Fifth loop, the last, will
> be cooldown.
