I'd be interested, at least until this weather clears.

Subject: [BrooklynTriClub] training and comittee meeting
Importance: Low
A few things:
I've been in touch with Jon Cane of citycoach about using his indoor spin studio
for some group workouts. His studio is on 5th st. and 6th avenue and it has 6
computrainers set up and networked so that 6 people can ride the same simulated
course simultaneously. I participated in a race there a few weeks ago and it
was a lot of fun. It's a great way to get a longer ride in during the winter,
when most of us are stuck on indoor trainers during the week.
He's agreed to give us a discounted price of $15 per person for a 90 minute
session (normal price is $20). The time he has available is Thursdays from 8:30
to 10pm.
Before I confirm with him that we're going to use the studio, I wanted to make
sure there is interest out there to do so. If you think that it's somethin
you'd participate in, then please let me know.
We'll be swimming again on Saturday morning at 8am at the Berkeley Carroll pool
if anyone is interested in joining us.
I've been in touch with the YMCA about using their room again for another
meeting next week. I think it's important that the comittees sit down again
sometime soon to brainstorm ideas and assign some individual tasks. I asked for
Wednesday night, but I will keep you all posted on what's available as soon as I
find out.
Thanks,
Jonathan
