Yes - there are relay teams ... but, I believe
registration is already closed.  World class
swimmers come from around the globe to
swim around Manhattan - 28.5 miles.
Start training now for next year.
Volunteer to see what you're in for.
I did ... it is fantastic !

They have other races and open water swim clinics.
Aquathons - swim/bike ... etc.
