Without john, as a team lead, i would never have finished a marathon.
He kept the team together and made running fun and interesting. I especially appreciated his version of the no child left behind policy when i was struggling to keep the rithm on long runs.

You have been a wonderful team captain- motivating, knowledgeable and inspiring- and I am sad to hear you will not be captain any more, but do understand the other commitment. Thank you for leading the group as you did.
