Hey John,
Good emails that you are sending out. On that note, I have a
job interview on Skype on Saturday morning, so I won’t be at the group run.
Good luck in the Bronx on Sunday!
George

Subject: [BrooklynRoadRunners] BRRC "No cancellation" policy
for group runs
Natalie, Matt and I had a very nice run in the snow &
cold on Tuesday night. To be clear about this, no group runs are ever canceled,
but attendance can be zero on any given night -- to give an extreme example, if
Tuesday or Thursday is on Dec. 24 or 25, or July 4 for that matter, I would
guess that no one shows up.
Since we are coachless and attendance is never mandatory,
one should always be prepared for the possibility that you may be running
alone; one way to avoid that is to bring a friend, make a couple of calls, or
otherwise try to recruit people for the group runs. I've often done this, and
several times, only the person(s) I called showed up.
On Tuesday, I was very encouraged that 3 people were there
on such a bad-weather night; how was attendance last night (I was working)?

Subject: [BrooklynRoadRunners] Run in snow?
Hi John, I will be coming out to run tonight.
Do we still run in this weather or will the group
run be cancelled?
Thank you.
Best,
Natalie
