A discussion group for owners and anyone else interested in discussing and learning about the world-famous Brompton folding bicycle and Brompton-related activities. Topics range from best ways to order and configure a Brompton to customizing ideas to multi-modal transportation and touring.

This group is open to anyone interested in Bromptons. However, approx 2-3 times per week we get spammers requesting to join, these can be spotted by not really knowing anything about Bromptons, so to filter these out you must briefly describe your interest when you request to join the group, to filter out spammers, your request to join is reviewed by the moderators, and not publicized to the group. Spammers not interested in Bromptons can be spotted by requests with "hi", "wish to join", "let me in", or "I own a Brompton" are hence not approved.

If you are rejected this is the reason why, so if you're genuine re-apply using the above rules. Usually this is too much effort for spammers.

If after joining a commercial postings ("spam") is posted, offenders will be ejected and the message deleted. However, commercial vendors can make limited and informative postings around events.

The group's content has negligible moderation, free-speech is the group policy. However:
- please keep the subject line pertinent to the topic being discussed. Off-thread discussions are valued but please change the subject-line in replying to match the thrust of your posting. This allows those who skim-read to dive into topics they find interesting, and ignore topics they find not interesting. This is in line with the free-speech policy.
- we often disagree, but we also respect alternative views. Be nice.
